To help us drive excellence, as our Master Production Scheduler you’ll get to:
- Have a unique view of the entire operation. You won’t simply maintain a schedule—you will help determine what we run, when we run it, and how we respond when the plan changes.
- Be the center of the operation, solving complex manufacturing challenges, and seeing the direct impact of your decisions on plant performance and customer success.
- Develop and maintain the master production schedule based on customer requirements, inventory levels, capacity, and operational priorities.
- Coordinate with Production, Materials, Logistics, Quality, Tool & Die, Maintenance, and Customers to address constraints and to keep production moving.
- Communicate scheduling priorities and changes clearly across all levels of the organization.
- Use data and manufacturing systems to identify opportunities to improve schedule attainment, inventory performance, capacity utilization, and on-time delivery.
This full-time role is a part of our Bluffton Ohio Materials team and reports to the Materials Manager.
What we are looking for:
- Five Years’ experience in production planning, materials, or scheduling.
- Strong understanding of production capacity, inventory management, customer requirements, and manufacturing constraints.
- Strong Experience working with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple competing demands in a deadline-driven environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to remain organized when priorities change.
- Automotive manufacturing experience is preferred.
- QAD experience preferred
