Full Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Quality Manager to lead our construction operations. The person in this role will be responsible for providing management of the organization’s quality programs and certifications including but not limited to: ISO (BOQ), AISC, ACI, etc. The Quality Manager ensures that the organization, and its products and services are consistent. There are four main components to this: quality planning, quality assurance, quality control and quality improvement. The Quality Manager is focused not only on product and service quality, but also on the means to achieve it.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

Schedule and conduct reviews and internal audits and external surveillance audits with outside auditors
Handle tracking corrective actions, audit matrix.
Training of new hires in the ISO/BOQ policy.
Provides employee-training materials and updates to convey quality policy and ensures adequate resources are available for ongoing quality training.
Maintains a master list of quality policies, procedures and work instructions with the most current revision for each document.
Reviews quality policies, procedures and work instructions annually to ensure their accuracy, completeness and continues relevance.
Ensure Proper Document Storage
Using the appropriate procedure checklist or equivalent, conducts the quality system audit
Provides weekly quality report to the management team
Update and educate staff on updates and procedures
Communicate during staff meetings and department meetings
Performing jobsite quality checks and interacting with project supervision to ensure quality standards are being achieved.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities could include; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

College or University degree in a construction related field relevant experience, training, or equivalent combination. A proven track record and relevant past construction experience with steel, concrete, and carpentry is highly desired.
