Yes Automotive of Lima is seeking a motivated Used Car Sales Associate who excels at both closing deals and creating compelling social media content that generates real leads.
In today’s market, buyers often discover vehicles online before visiting the lot. This hybrid role combines traditional used-car sales with modern digital content creation. You will sell quality pre-owned vehicles while building our online presence through authentic videos, photos, and posts that turn viewers into buyers and reduce reliance on paid advertising.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Experience
- Work the lot: greet customers, understand their needs, present vehicles, handle objections, and close sales
- Manage the full sales process from initial contact through delivery and follow-up
- Follow up promptly on leads from social media, internet, phone, and walk-ins
- Maintain accurate records and deliver strong customer experiences that generate referrals and reviews
Social Media & Content Creation (Core Requirement)
- Film and edit high-quality short-form video (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts) and photos showcasing inventory — walkarounds, feature highlights, comparisons, deals, and customer stories
- Post consistently on Facebook Marketplace, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
- Respond professionally and promptly to comments, messages, and inquiries from social platforms
- Track basic engagement metrics and refine content to maximize lead generation
- Align content with sales priorities and promotions in collaboration with management
Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
- 1+ years of proven automotive sales experience, preferably in used cars, with a track record of meeting targets
- Demonstrated skill in social media content creation: comfortable on camera, strong smartphone photography and videography skills, and basic video editing ability (CapCut, iMovie, VN, or similar)
- Practical knowledge of Facebook Marketplace, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube for business and lead generation
- Excellent face-to-face communication, negotiation, and closing skills
- Self-motivated and organized — able to balance lot duties with consistent content production
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent; reliable transportation to Lima, Ohio
Preferred
- Links or portfolio of previous content you have created (vehicle or product-focused examples are ideal)
- Experience with dealership CRM systems or basic social media tools
- Local Lima / Northwest Ohio market knowledge
