Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sous Chef / Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team with passion and precision. In this vital role, you will oversee daily kitchen operations, ensure exceptional food quality, and maintain a vibrant, organized, and safe working environment. Responsibilities

Supervise daily kitchen activities, ensuring smooth operations during all shifts
Lead food preparation and cooking processes to deliver high-quality dishes aligned with menu standards
Manage inventory control and food management procedures to minimize waste and optimize costs
Oversee food safety sanitizing procedures, ensuring compliance with health regulations and sanitation standards
Coordinate menu planning and catering services, including banquet and fine dining events
Supervise and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment and managing shift schedules
Implement food service management practices that enhance efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction
Monitor dietary department requirements and ensure proper handling of special dietary requests
Maintain accurate records of inventory, food handling procedures, and safety protocols
Lead by example in serving guests with professionalism, hospitality, and attention to detail

Skills

Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in fine dining environments
Proven supervising experience in a fast-paced kitchen setting
Knowledge of banquet, catering, and event food production processes
Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff
Expertise in inventory management, cost control, and food service operations
Familiarity with food safety sanitizing procedures and health regulations
Experience in menu planning, shift management, and restaurant or hospitality management
Excellent cooking skills combined with leadership capabilities in managing kitchen teams as a chef
Background in food handling, catering services, and restaurant experience within the food industry
Ability to oversee multiple responsibilities including food preparation, serving, bartending (if applicable), and kitchen management
