Job Overview

this position starts at 2:30 am - 7:30 am 5 days a week (Tuesday & Wednesday off).

We are seeking a passionate and skilled <PERSON> to join our dynamic culinary team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for creating delectable baked goods that delight our customers. Your expertise in food preparation, pastry arts, and kitchen operations will contribute to delivering high-quality culinary experiences. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary talent in a fast-paced environment while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and cleanliness. If you thrive in high-volume production settings and have a flair for cake decorating and food presentation, we want to hear from you!

Duties

Prepare a wide range of baked goods, pastries, and Bread following established recipes and quality standards
Decorate pastries with precision, creativity, and attention to detail to meet customer specifications
Operate various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently ovens, knives, and pastry tools
Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with food safety regulations
Assist with food handling and preparation for catering events or service, ensuring all items meet safety standards
Support high-volume production needs by working quickly while adhering to recipe guidelines and portion control
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of orders and uphold excellent customer service standards

Qualifications

Proven experience in food production, baking, pastry preparation, or related culinary fields; experience is highly desirable
Strong knowledge of food safety management practices and proper food handling procedures
Skilled in operating kitchen equipment safely and effectively in a fast-paced environment
Excellent knife skills and proficiency in food presentation techniques
Ability to follow detailed recipes accurately while maintaining consistency across baked goods and desserts
Prior experience working in high-volume kitchens, catering services, or restaurants preferred
Basic math skills for measuring ingredients accurately and managing portion sizes
Demonstrated commitment to maintaining a clean workspace and adhering to food safety standards
Customer service orientation with the ability to work well within a team environment
