Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour

Requirements

Must be 21 years of age or older
Valid CCS (Concealed Carry Permit)
Pass background check and drug screening
High school diploma or GED
Valid driver’s license and good driving record
Reliable transportation
Excellent verbal, written, and organizational communication skills
Ability to complete required training modules within first month
Professional, punctual, and able to lift/move up to 20 pounds

Position Summary

As an Armed Security Officer with Signal of Lincoln, you will be assigned to a client facility where you will provide a visible and professional security presence. This includes monitoring access points, managing visitor entry, enforcing site policies, and ensuring the safety of employees, guests, and property.

You will:

Manage facility access and visitor entry procedures
Conduct foot patrols of designated areas within the facility
Monitor and secure entrances, exits, and restricted areas
Respond to incidents and emergencies with calm professionalism
Maintain detailed, accurate reports using Signal’s reporting technology
Provide excellent customer service and communication to employees, visitors, and clients

Key Responsibilities

Control and monitor facility access per client post orders
Deliver consistent, professional security services in line with Signal standards
Write timely, accurate incident and activity reports
Communicate effectively with the Branch Patrol Supervisor and client representatives
De-escalate issues promptly and professionally
Protect and maintain Signal equipment, uniforms, and assigned resources
Participate in daily briefings and follow-up communications to ensure operational excellence
