# Part Time Diesel Mechanic, Moku Mobile Mechanics (Lincoln, NE)

Moku Mobile Mechanics brings the shop to the truck. We handle heavy duty repair, tires, and preventive maintenance for owner operators and national fleet accounts across the Lincoln area, and we are expanding across the region fast. We are looking for local diesel mechanics who want more than a wrench turning job. We want people who will grow with us.

## What you'll do
- Respond to mobile service calls: no starts, aftertreatment and DEF issues, brakes, electrical, tires, and scheduled PM- Run diagnostics with our scan tools and in-app service manuals, then make the repair on site- Document work in the service app (photos, notes, parts) so the job invoices clean- Represent Moku with fleet customers who will remember you by name
## What we're looking for
- Hands on diesel experience (shop, farm, fleet, or military all count)- Your own basic hand tools; we supply the diagnostics, specialty tools, and the trailer- Valid driver's license and a clean enough record to drive our service units- Comfortable working independently and talking to customers like a professional- Lincoln area based, or close enough to cover it
Nice to have, not required: air brake and tire experience, ASE or TIA certs, EV or hybrid interest (we are positioning for electric fleet work too).
## The long game
We are building a regional network, city by city. Part time is where you start, not where this ends. Mechanics who prove out here have a real path to:
- **Part time** as call volume grows (it is growing now)- **Lead mechanic**, running your own trailer and territory- **Trainer or regional lead** as we open new markets- Ops and management roles for the ones who want to build the company, not just work in it
