Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Security and Network Engineer to lead the design, implementation, security, and lifecycle management of our enterprise technology environment. This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, security, and performance of network, server, cloud, identity, and cybersecurity platforms while driving strategic technology initiatives that support business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure, Network & Security Leadership
- Design, implement, maintain, and optimize enterprise infrastructure including networking, servers, cloud platforms, identity management, and cybersecurity solutions.
- Ensure infrastructure environments are highly available, secure, scalable, resilient, and compliant with organizational standards.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for complex infrastructure, network, cloud, and cybersecurity issues.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts, root cause analysis, incident response, and issue resolution.
Cybersecurity & Risk Management
- Develop, implement, and maintain security controls and cybersecurity best practices.
- Lead vulnerability management, security monitoring, risk mitigation, and incident response efforts.
- Support identity and access management initiatives, including privileged access management and multi-factor authentication.
- Develop and test disaster recovery and business continuity programs to ensure organizational readiness.
Technology Strategy & Innovation
- Lead infrastructure modernization and cybersecurity initiatives from planning through implementation and support.
- Evaluate emerging technologies, cybersecurity threats, and industry trends.
- Develop technology roadmaps and recommend solutions that improve security, performance, reliability, and operational efficiency.
- Provide recommendations related to technology lifecycle planning, budgeting, upgrades, and future investments.
Collaboration & Documentation
- Collaborate with business leaders, vendors, auditors, and cross-functional teams to deliver technology solutions aligned with organizational goals.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, architecture standards, operational procedures, security standards, and system diagrams.
- Ensure compliance with organizational, regulatory, and security requirements.
Leadership & Mentorship
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers, administrators, and support staff.
- Promote knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the IT organization.
- Participate in an on-call rotation and provide after-hours support when required.
Additional Responsibilities
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance.

- Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field preferred.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Eight (8) to ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience supporting enterprise infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, and cloud technologies.

Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
