Two Requirements Before You Apply
1. Active CCMA (Certified Clinical Medical Assistant) certification. RMA, CMA (AAMA), CNA, and medical assistant diplomas do not qualify. You will be asked for your certification number and issuing body.
2. Professional spoken Mandarin fluency. You must be able to explain a chronic care program and complete a consent conversation in Mandarin without an interpreter.
If you do not meet both, this is not the right role — and we'd rather tell you now than after you've applied.
About the Role
We are seeking a Nationally Certified Medical Assistant (CCMA required) who is fluent in Mandarin and English to serve as a remote Consent & Care Coordination Specialist across our chronic care programs, including Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM), Chronic Care Management (CCM), and Remote Therapeutic Monitoring (RTM).
This role directly supports our Mandarin-speaking patient population. You will conduct patient education, verbal consent conversations, and ongoing care coordination in Mandarin, which makes spoken fluency essential to performing the job.
This role suits a Medical Assistant who is compassionate and detail-oriented. You will support patient enrollment, consent management, and care coordination while helping patients understand and engage in their chronic care programs — all while keeping documentation compliant, accurate, and patient-focused.
Key Responsibilities
- Educate patients on chronic care management programs in clear, patient-friendly language in both Mandarin and English
- Guide Mandarin-speaking patients through verbal and written consent processes with professionalism and empathy, confirming patient understanding before consent is documented
- Keep documentation, enrollment records, and consent workflows CMS-compliant and audit-ready
- Accurately document patient interactions in KaiCare Ai's platform and the clinic's EHR
- Collaborate with providers, front office staff, and care teams to keep patient workflows running smoothly
- Support patient outreach, scheduling coordination, and follow-up communication
- Escalate patient concerns and clinical issues appropriately to providers or leadership
- Represent KaiCare Ai professionally at every patient touchpoint

Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to read and write Simplified Chinese for patient messaging and written materials
- HIPAA knowledge and compliance awareness
- Experience with RPM, CCM, RTM, PCM, or TCM programs
