Job Summary
Join our dynamic healthcare team as an Ultrasound Technologist - General, where you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services to diverse patient populations. This energetic position offers the opportunity to utilize advanced ultrasound technology across a broad spectrum of specialties, including women's health, vascular diagnostics, and general radiology. Your expertise will directly contribute to accurate diagnoses and exceptional patient care in a collaborative environment that values innovation and professional growth.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain various ultrasound imaging equipment, including abdominal, prenatal, gynecological, breast, vascular, and echocardiography systems, ensuring optimal image quality.
Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures with precision, adhering to established protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety and comfort.
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to interpret imaging results accurately and communicate findings effectively.
Manage patient care throughout the imaging process, providing clear instructions and compassionate support to enhance patient experience.
Utilize electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems and Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS) for documentation, image storage, and report generation.
Maintain detailed records of procedures performed, equipment maintenance, and quality assurance activities.
Stay current with advances in medical imaging technology and participate in ongoing training to refine skills across diverse ultrasound modalities.

Header
Experience

Proven experience operating medical ultrasound equipment across multiple specialties such as women's health diagnostics, vascular technology diagnostics, echocardiography, and general radiology.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to obstetrics, gynecology, cardiovascular health, and abdominal imaging.
Demonstrated ability to perform complex ultrasounds including prenatal ultrasound, gynecological ultrasound, breast ultrasound, vascular ultrasound imaging, and abdominal ultrasound.
Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems and PACS for efficient workflow management.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare providers while maintaining a high standard of patient care.
Ability to operate medical imaging equipment safely while adhering to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
Certification or licensure as required by local regulatory bodies for sonography or vascular technology diagnostics is preferred but not mandatory for all roles; relevant training or internship experience is valued.
