About PACTT Learning Center:

PACTT educational, residential, and vocational programs support children and adults with autism. At PACTT, our mission is to assist individuals with autism in becoming as independent as possible with the ability to integrate effectively into their homes and community.

JOB SUMMARY

Full-Time (32 hrs, 4 days a week) in Chicago, IL (60626)
Salary: $65,000/yr

BCBA or Behavioral Therapist Level 2 will provide support to individuals and staff by providing behavior support services in Applied Behavior Analysis, functional behavior assessments, and behavior acquisition and reduction. The BCBA or Behavioral Therapist Level 2 will work on a multidisciplinary team and train staff in implementation and documentation of Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and programming. Significant time will be spent in programs working with individuals and staff.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Provide 1:1 assessment and planning using evidence-based techniques based on functional behavior assessment data to determine target challenging behaviors
Identify challenging behaviors and work with a team to develop individualized behavior plans with strategies to teach replacement behaviors, increasing skills and reducing target behaviors
Provide training and program support to staff for implementation of behavior plans and effective proactive behavior strategies.
Assist in implementation of assessment tools, conduct functional behavior assessments and analysis to identify antecedents, behavior, and consequences when appropriate.
Create an ongoing data collection system to establish baseline and programmatic efficacy for individuals, and to analyze data on a frequent and ongoing basis to guide programming.
Participate in committees related to participants and their support needs.
Maintain compliance with all relevant licensure and accreditation standards and required training (DHS Rules 115, 116, 119, 50, DCFS and CQL Standards).
Support individuals in behavioral crisis
Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

Active Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification or Level II Behavioral Therapist Certification
Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field
At least one year's experience working with individuals with co–occurring autism and intellectual disability.
