Luxury Fashion Sales & Creative Brand Manager
Christina Karin — Chicago, IL
Part-Time to Full-Time | Hourly | $25–$30/hour based on experience and skill level + Performance Bonuses
Christina Karin is seeking an exceptional Luxury Fashion Sales & Creative Brand Manager to join our Chicago store and grow with our expanding brand presence.
This is a highly multidimensional position combining luxury fashion sales, client styling, graphic design, digital content creation, fashion knowledge and hands-on creative brand development.
We are looking for someone who is equally comfortable selling and styling a client on the floor and sitting down at a computer to create polished visual work for the brand.
Strong technical computer and design skills are an important part of this position.
Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop is required. Experience with Adobe Illustrator and other Adobe Creative Suite programs is strongly preferred. Candidates should be comfortable editing photography, creating marketing materials, working with layouts and graphics, preparing digital assets and turning creative ideas into finished visual work.
This is not a traditional retail position.
We are looking for someone who wants to participate in many aspects of building and growing an independent luxury fashion brand.
One part of the day may involve selling and styling clients. Another may involve editing photography in Photoshop, creating graphics for an email campaign, developing social content, preparing assets for a launch, styling and editing a video, helping with a photoshoot, event or assisting with a fashion design project.
The ideal candidate combines sales ability, visual sophistication, technical skill, fashion knowledge, creativity, energy and an exceptional level of attention to detail.
SALES, STYLING & CLIENT EXPERIENCE
Sales is a critical part of this position.
You will be responsible for creating an elevated and highly personal experience for every client who enters the Christina Karin store while actively driving revenue and developing long-term client relationships.
Responsibilities include:
- Drive in-store sales and work toward individual and store sales goals.
- Confidently engage clients and close sales.
- Style clients and create complete looks based on their individual needs, personal style and lifestyle.
- Develop meaningful relationships with new and existing Christina Karin clients.
- Proactively reach out to clients regarding new collections, new arrivals, events and pieces selected specifically for them.
- Build repeat business through thoughtful and consistent clienteling.
- Develop an expert understanding of Christina Karin collections, fit, fabrics, construction and design.
- Maintain an elevated, beautiful and highly organized store environment.
- Assist with merchandising and product presentation.
We are looking for someone who genuinely loves selling fashion and working with people.
You should have energy, confidence and presence. You should be able to make a client feel comfortable, understand what she needs, style her thoughtfully and confidently ask for the sale.
GRAPHIC DESIGN, ADOBE & DIGITAL CREATIVE SKILLS
This is a significant part of the position and not simply an occasional responsibility.
During periods when the store is not busy with clients, you will transition into creative and digital projects for the Christina Karin brand.
You must be someone who can independently open a project, work efficiently on a computer and produce sophisticated, professional visual work.
Responsibilities may include:
- Edit, retouch, resize and prepare photography in Adobe Photoshop.
- Create graphics and visual assets for social media, email marketing, events, promotions and product launches.
- Design and edit marketing materials while maintaining the Christina Karin brand aesthetic.
- Work with typography, imagery, composition and layout.
- Prepare images and digital assets in the correct sizes, formats and resolutions for different platforms.
- Assist with some fashion design work, flats, tech packs, etc
- Create invitations, promotional pieces, lookbooks, line sheets and other brand materials.
- Create and modify layouts using Adobe Creative Suite.
- Work in Adobe Illustrator on graphics, fashion-related artwork and brand projects when needed.
- Organize digital files, photography, assets and creative materials with excellent attention to detail.
- Edit short-form fashion and styling video content.
- Prepare visual assets for Instagram, Reels, Stories, email and other digital channels.
- Work with photography from concept through final edited image.
- Maintain consistency across all visual brand materials.
- Translate a creative direction or reference into a polished finished asset.
- Troubleshoot basic technical and formatting issues independently.
We are looking for someone with real computer proficiency who works quickly, accurately and confidently with digital creative tools.
The ideal candidate doesn't need someone sitting beside them explaining how to crop an image, adjust a file, edit or retouch, create a layout, prepare an asset or organize a Photoshop project.
You should know how to take an idea and execute it.
CONTENT, MARKETING & BRAND DEVELOPMENT
The person in this role will also contribute creatively to how Christina Karin communicates and grows.
Projects may include:
- Developing concepts for marketing campaigns.
- Brainstorming social media ideas and content series.
- Creating styling videos and fashion content.
- Styling looks for photography and video.
- Assisting with photoshoot concepts, preparation, styling and production.
- Creating mood boards and visual concepts.
- Developing graphics and assets for product launches.
- Helping create email marketing campaigns and promotional materials.
- Researching fashion, photography, design, cultural and social media trends.
- Developing ideas for events, collaborations and partnerships.
- Creating concepts designed to increase traffic and awareness of the Chicago store.
- Supporting e-commerce imagery, campaigns, and product presentation.
- Helping develop visual storytelling around new collections.
- Identifying creative opportunities for the brand without always waiting to be asked.
We want someone who is constantly thinking:
What can I create? What can I improve? What can we do differently? How can this brand grow?

- Preparing for collection launches and photoshoots.
- Organizing creative references, fabrics, garments and samples.
- Conducting fashion and design research.
- Assisting the designer with special collection and product projects.
We particularly value candidates who understand how clothing is designed and constructed, rather than simply having an interest in fashion.

WHY THIS ROLE IS DIFFERENT
Christina Karin is an independent luxury womenswear brand, which means you will have an opportunity to participate in the actual building of a fashion company rather than being confined to one narrow responsibility.
You may be selling and styling clients in the morning, designing a marketing piece in Photoshop after lunch, helping with a fitting later in the afternoon and developing a concept for a social campaign before the end of the day.
We are looking for someone who finds that variety exciting rather than overwhelming.
You will work closely with the designer and gain exposure to sales, clients, fashion design, styling, content, photography, graphic design, marketing, product and brand development.
Your contribution will be visible, and your ideas will matter.
For the right person, there is significant opportunity to grow in responsibility as Christina Karin grows.
