Full Job Description

Our office is looking to add a skilled dental receptionist to our team. In this role, you will serve as the chief point of contact for our patients. This means that having an upbeat attitude and professional demeanor are essential. You’ll greet patients, take their phone calls, and send out emails to ensure their needs are being met.

You will also help our office operate more effectively. This will include completing tasks like scheduling and moving patient appointments, communicating with insurance providers, and filing documents, among others. Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments
- Verify insurance coverage and collect patient information
- Assist with billing and processing payments
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality
- Coordinate referrals to specialists as needed
- Keep the reception area clean and organized

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proficient in using computer software for scheduling and record keeping
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
