Full Job Description

TARGET HOURLY RATE: 17.06 - 24.00/hr. DOQ

What will they do?
The Corporate Kitchen Assistant will support the Corporate Kitchen Manager and Sous Chef in preparing and serving daily lunch for employees at the Infinite Campus corporate office. This role includes assisting with weekly menu planning, gathering food supplies, preparing meals, plating dishes in a fast-paced environment, and working closely with other kitchen staff to ensure an efficient and enjoyable dining experience. The position also involves maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, following food safety standards, and completing other kitchen-related duties as needed.

The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working in a collaborative kitchen environment and thrives in a fast-paced setting. They should be dependable, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a positive attitude and high-quality work. A background in culinary arts, either through formal education or two to three years of related experience, would prepare them well for this role. The right fit is creative, eager to learn, committed to providing excellent service, and capable of working efficiently during lunch service while adapting to changing priorities.

What skill set will they need?
A successful Corporate Kitchen Assistant will have foundational culinary knowledge, experience with food preparation, and a strong understanding of food safety practices. They should possess excellent time management and organizational skills, be able to work effectively as part of a team, and maintain professionalism in a busy, high-interruption environment. Physical capability to lift up to 10 pounds and perform kitchen tasks throughout the workday is also required. Strong communication, attention to detail, adaptability, and a willingness to support the overall success of the kitchen team are essential for success in this position.
