Job Title: Nursing Home Admissions Director

Location: Pleasantville, NJ (On-site)

Compensation: $90,000 - $110,000 annually

Job Summary

A very well-established nursing home is seeking an experienced Admissions Director to champion the growth of the facility.

In this pivotal role, you will be managing and overseeing the entire admissions and financial process from initial inquiry to resident move-in, insuring all finances are in place.

You'll work closely with the families and the facilities, insuring accurate and clear communication throughout the financial planning process and complexities of long term care funding.

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for making the determination of whether a potential resident will be a good fit for the facility or not.
Ensure all admissions meet regulatory, clinical, and financial requirements.
Work with the billing or finance department to insure financial eligibility and pre-authorization where needed.
Manage and oversee the admissions process.
Ensure all documentation for admissions is complete, accurate, and in compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations.
Track and report admissions trends and referral patterns to leadership

Qualifications & Experience

A minimum of 1-3 years of Admissions Coordinating experience in the nursing home, senior living, or acute care industry.
Exposure in processing advanced financial forms for the finances
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect authentically with prospective residents, their families, and medical professionals.
