Full Job Description

Wood fired pizzas, Italian small plates, fresh pastas, creative entrees, salads and more, all made in a scratch kitchen.

We are looking for qualified individuals that can fit in with us in a team environment of hard-working individuals that do a GREAT job and who want to be successful.

Candidates must:

Have 3 years of experience in an upscale, high volume restaurant
Be available year round, we are not hiring seasonal employees
Be willing to cross train in other service areas

You will be part of our opening team and have all the typical duties and responsibilities that go along with being part of an opening team with a staff of about 40 FOH employees and will report directly to the Operating Partners. This position will be for an individual that will be flexible and willing to be the best they can be. Cross training in various FOH positions will be possible. Flexibility is a requirement of the position and flexible hours are available. We will work the best we can with your scheduling needs.

The BUSSER/FOOD RUNNER/POLISHER positions at VAI’s play integral parts in a successful and smooth operation, connecting FOH and BOH operations. Each role requires skills in multi-tasking and situational awareness that will be key to the operation. Clean and tidy tables, hot food delivered fast, and sparkling glass and silverware are all part of an exceptional experience for customers eating at VAI’s. “The experience is in the details” is what sets VAI’s apart from the competition.
