Full Job Description

Since 2019, our team has supported real estate transactions throughout the Chicagoland area. We are seeking an experienced Escrow Closer who will make an immediate positive impact by providing knowledgeable, dependable support to both our team and our clients.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about the title and escrow industry, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in accuracy, service, and helping transactions close smoothly.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will bring 7 or more years of real estate title and closing experience and be confident managing a wide range of responsibilities related to title clearance, closing preparation, funding coordination, and policy issuance.

Key Responsibilities

Review title commitments and assist in obtaining any necessary title clearance
Prepare CPLs
Prepare Closing Disclosures and settlement statements for lender and cash closings
Prepare various closing documents
Coordinate with lenders and attorneys to ensure all requirements are met for timely closings
Schedule closings with escrow partner
Closely follow all escrow instructions provided by lender
Review and verify the accuracy of all closing documents to ensure documents were properly executed and meet lender funding requirements and county recording requirements
Work closely with outside escrow partners to support a smooth closing and funding process and assist in resolving any issues that may arise
Prepare lender and owner’s policies
Perform a wide range of support functions to assist in departmental processes
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

7+ years of real estate title and closing experience required
Illinois Notary preferred, or willingness to obtain
Ability to interpret various agreements as they relate to title and escrow closings
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to prioritize effectively and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook

This position is 100% in-person in downtown Naperville, IL

Pay: $30.00 - $33.00 per hour
