Alpine has been in existence since 1975 providing services in the commercial and Industrial industry.
We currently have five business units; Commercial, Industrial, Flooring, Welding, and shop work.
We mainly operate in the Tri-State area we have years of experience in surface preparation and coating
application experience in a wide variety of facilities, including Warehouses, Hospitals, Manufacturing Facilities,
or any project that demands commercial & industrial painting services. Our reputation of quality is achieved from

ABOUT THE JOB - KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as needed.
- Mix and apply paints and coatings using a variety of spray equipment.
- Ensure paint application is even and free from defects such as runs and streaks.
- Monitor and adjust paint gun settings for proper flow and coverage.
- Follow safety protocols to protect yourself and others from hazardous materials.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of spray equipment.
- Inspect finished work to verify conformance to specifications and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records of paint usage and materials inventory.
- Collaborate with colleagues to meet production schedules and deadlines.
ABOUT YOU - TRAITS AND SKILLS NECESSARY FOR SUCCESS:
· Surface Preparation:
- Perform sandblasting operations to prepare various surfaces for painting.
- Ensure proper cleaning, abrading, and profiling of surfaces to meet project specifications.
Coating Application:
- Apply industrial coatings using various methods, including spraying, brushing, and rolling.
- Ensure the even and smooth application of coatings to achieve the desired finish.
Material Mixing:
- Prepare and mix paints, coatings, and primers according to specified formulations.
- Verify color matching and consistency for each job.
Equipment Maintenance:
- Maintain and clean painting and sandblasting equipment regularly.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify and address any issues promptly.
Quality Control:
- Inspect surfaces before and after painting to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Conduct tests to evaluate coating thickness and overall finish quality.
Safety Compliance:
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines during all painting and sandblasting operations.
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure a safe working environment.
Project Coordination:
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to coordinate painting and sandblasting activities.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks within project deadlines.
Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of coating specifications, material usage, and project details.
- Generate reports as needed for project documentation and quality assurance.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven experience as an Industrial Painter and Sandblaster in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Knowledge of different coating materials, application methods, and surface preparation techniques.
- Familiarity with sandblasting equipment and processes.
- Ability to interpret project specifications and adhere to quality standards.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and the proper use of personal protective equipment.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and follow project timelines.
- Relevant certifications or training in industrial painting and sandblasting is a plus.
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
SCHEDULE:
· Typical Business Hours: 7:00am-3:00pm, with flexibility
· Location: 17 Florida Ave., Paterson, NJ 07503
COMPENSATION:
· $21.00- 31.00 hourly range to start, depending on experience
· Discretionary bonuses
