Full Job Description

Estimator / Quoter - Ability to read mechanical engineering drawings required

Location: Lititz, PA

Schedule: Full-time | Day Shift

For over 50 years, Fluid Conditioning Products (FCP) has been a trusted, family-owned

manufacturer of precision filtration and fluid control solutions serving aerospace,

defense, and naval markets. We are seeking a detail-oriented Estimator / Quoter to join

our team and help drive profitable growth through accurate project costing and proposal

development.

This position plays a critical role in evaluating customer requirements, analyzing costs,

and preparing accurate quotations that support strategic business decisions. The ideal

candidate combines strong analytical skills with technical aptitude and the ability to work

effectively across departments.

What You'll Do

 Review customer requirements, specifications, drawings, and project

documentation.

 Read and interpret technical drawings.

 Develop accurate cost estimates for labor, materials, outside processing, and

production activities.

 Identify key cost drivers and variables affecting project profitability.

 Research material pricing, labor costs, lead times, and manufacturing

requirements.

 Obtain and evaluate quotes from suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors.

 Prepare detailed customer quotations and supporting documentation.

 Utilize software tools for estimating forecasting, budgeting, and data analysis.

 Work closely with engineering, production, purchasing, and management teams

to ensure estimate accuracy.

 Maintain organized records of estimates, quotes, and project data.

 Meet quotation deadlines while managing multiple projects simultaneously.

 Support continuous improvement initiatives related to estimating and quoting

processes.

What We're Looking For

 Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.

 Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

 Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.

 Ability to manage multiple priorities and work within deadlines.

 Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and other business software.

 Effective communication and relationship-building skills.

 Understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and production methods

preferred.

 Familiarity with cost estimating, forecasting, budgeting, and project management

principles.

 Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

 U.S. Citizenship required

 Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Business, Supply Chain,

Manufacturing Technology, or a related field preferred.

 Equivalent manufacturing estimating experience will be considered.

 Experience in manufacturing, estimating, quoting, project coordination,

purchasing, or related fields preferred.

 Job Type: Full-time, on-site
