LifeConnections is a behavioral health organization providing residential services across Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Arkansas. We specialize in supporting adults with developmental disabilities and complex behavioral needs so they can live meaningful, stable lives in their communities.

Position: Shared Living Provider

Locations: Little Rock, Conway, Benton, Searcy, Russellville, Hot Springs, Fort Smith, Jonesboro & Fort Smith areas.

Annual Stipend: $45,000 - $49,000/Year, Tax Free!

Room & Board: $450-$600/month

Individual #1)

Individual is a young woman in her early 20's. She is very sweet, but it will take time for her to build a relationship. She is super funny and loves sarcasm. She is incredibly artistic and loves to color and draw. She is very independent but needs a lot of reassurance and support. She has a very traumatic past and really needs someone to support her. She is looking for a single provider to live with as she gets overwhelmed with a lot of people. It is important to keep her busy. She loves shopping and having her nails done and doing nails. Her favorite color is hot pink and she loves animal print. She LOVES dogs. She gets scared at night, so it is important for her to know that her windows are locked, curtains and blinds closed, and she will need a small light. She may be looking into a support animal, so being okay with a dog is preferred! Experience in social work, mental health and trauma is preferred.

Individual #2)

Individual is a male in his late 20's. He would like to move to a town that is no more than 1.5 hours from Little Rock. He is pleasant to converse with. Intelligent. He loves gaming, occasional use of CBD and a heavy smoker. He can be very respectful and kind when he is being heard and listened to. Loves to discuss philosophical ideas. He loves to shop local. He dresses in a “punk rock” fashion. He is very good with computers, and would like to obtain his GED, and take a few computer classes. He would love to live in a home where it was just him and his provider. He prefers to only live with adults in the home, and is okay with dogs.

What is a Host Home Provider?

A Host Home Provider welcomes an adult with a developmental disability to live their home and supports them as part of everyday life.

The individual lives with you in your home, apartment, or condo and becomes part of your household. Providers help create a stable and supportive environment where the person can build independence, develop life skills, and participate in their community.

This opportunity is ideal for individuals or families who want to make a meaningful impact while working from home.

Responsibilities May Include

Providing a safe and supportive home environment
Assisting with daily living tasks such as meals and routines
Helping the individual participate in community activities
Transportation to medical appointments and activities
Medication support when applicable
Encouraging independence and life skills

Supporting Individuals with Complex Needs

Many of the individuals we support have developmental disabilities and may also experience behavioral or mental health challenges. LifeConnections specializes in supporting individuals with complex behavioral needs, as well as medical complexities. Our team has extensive experience providing the structure, training, and professional guidance necessary for success for both the provider and individual.

Host Home Providers are never expected to manage challenging situations alone. Our clinical and program teams provide:

Specialized training
Behavioral guidance and coaching
Ongoing support from experienced staff
Regular home visits and check-ins

Our goal is to ensure that both the individual and the provider feel supported, confident, and successful.
