Full Job Description

Dealers Truck Equipment Co. Parts Manager Position: 7/2026

At Dealers Truck Equipment Co., LLC., our purpose of “Building Excellence Everyday” means being a caring, customer-focused team player who strives for excellence while getting the job done.

As a Little Rock, AR, Parts Manager, you will be the first (and sometimes only) person that our walk-in customers see and will need to put on your best customer service face every morning. This position will be leading the charge of serving our customers, managing proper parts inventory levels, parts organization, invoicing, ordering and receiving parts, as well as managing 2-3 people.

Responsibilities:

*Greets walk-in customers in a timely and friendly manner

*Helps walk-in and phone customers with parts or service needs

*Create parts or service quotes for customers

*Assist sales team with parts pricing, availability and ordering

*Maintain appropriate inventory levels to support service, production and customer demand

*Forecast inventory requirements based on historical usage, seasonality and upcoming demand

*Monitor inventory turns, obsolete inventory and stock shortages

*Purchase parts for customers, inside account managers or shop

*Maintain pricing structures that achieve profitability while remaining competitive

*Ensure proper receiving, stocking, labeling and storage of parts

*Coordinate with Production and Sales to ensure timely parts availability

*Assist customers and technicians in identifying correct replacement parts

*Manages parts show room and front counter displays

*Establish and maintain strong vendor relationships

*Conduct regular cycle counts and annual physical inventories to maintain inventory accuracy

*Supervise, coach, train and evaluate parts and warehouse personnel

*Develop department procedures that improve productivity, organization and customer service

*Maintain clean, organized and efficient warehouse facilities and parts rooms

*Coordinate parts warranty claims and manufacturer returns in accordance with vendor requirements

*Loads/Unloads delivery trucks when necessary

*Completes sales transactions including receiving payments of cash, check, and credit card

Requirements:

*Previous parts/sales experience required

*Minimum High School diploma

*Exceptional customer service skills

*Detailed and organized

*Ability to work with people and talk to people in an effective and friendly manner

*Ability to use computers, perform data entry, and use Microsoft Office

*Normal standing, walking, bending needed in the office, warehouses, shops and on the yard during all seasons

*Ability to lift 75 lbs.

*Ability to operate a forklift

*Must be a TEAM PLAYER and HAVE A POSITIVE ATTITUDE
