Healing Springs Infusion Centers is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and highly motivated Nurse Practitioner to join our new ambulatory infusion practice in Little Rock, Arkansas. This is an exciting opportunity to help build a premier outpatient infusion center focused on delivering exceptional patient care in a comfortable, patient-centered environment.
Our practice specializes in the administration and management of advanced biologic, specialty, and infusion therapies for patients with autoimmune, neurologic, gastroenterologic, rheumatologic, dermatologic, endocrine, and other chronic medical conditions.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with our Medical Director while enjoying a high degree of autonomy in patient evaluation, treatment planning, infusion management, and longitudinal patient care.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients for infusion therapy and determine clinical appropriateness.
- Order and interpret laboratory studies and diagnostic testing.
- Monitor patients before, during, and after infusion treatments.
- Recognize and manage infusion reactions and medical emergencies.
- Coordinate care with referring physicians and specialists.
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records.
- Educate patients and caregivers regarding diagnoses, medications, and treatment plans.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and protocol development.
- Assist in developing clinical workflows as the practice grows.
QualificationsRequired
- Licensed (or eligible for licensure) as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in Arkansas.
- National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP), or Adult Nurse Practitioner (ANP) preferred.
- DEA registration (or ability to obtain).
- Current BLS certification.
Preferred
- ACLS certification.
- Two or more years of Nurse Practitioner experience.
- Experience in infusion therapy, rheumatology, gastroenterology, neurology, oncology, immunology, dermatology, internal medicine, emergency medicine, or hospital medicine.
- Experience managing biologic medications and infusion reactions.

Schedule
- This position offers a flexible schedule that will evolve with patient volume and the needs of the practice. During the startup phase, the schedule may vary as the practice grows. As patient demand increases, the schedule will be developed collaboratively to provide excellent patient access while promoting a healthy work-life balance.

Pay: $55.00 - $70.00 per hour
