Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled aluminum Fabricator/Tig Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and assembling metal components using various welding techniques. This role requires proficiency in fabrication processes, attention to detail, and the ability to read and interpret schematics. The Fabricator/Welder will work with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to produce high-quality products that meet our specifications.

Duties

Build and assemble metal structures and components according to project specifications.
Utilize MIG and TIG welding techniques to ensure strong welds.
Interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the necessary materials and dimensions for fabrication.
Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during the fabrication process.
Perform plasma cutting as needed to shape materials accurately.
Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure adherence to standards.
Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and improve production efficiency.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all equipment is in good working condition.

Qualifications

Proven experience in fabrication and welding, with a strong understanding of various welding techniques including MIG and/or TIG Welding.
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
Experience with plasma cutting is a plus.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues.
