Regional Finance Coordinator
Location: Conway, AR
Supporting: Nebraska & Oklahoma Operations
A Great Opportunity to Grow Your Career
Are you organized, detail-oriented, and ready to take the next step in your career?
Do you enjoy solving problems, learning new things, and finding ways to make processes work better?
Home Instead is looking for a Regional Finance Coordinator who is ready to grow into a key role supporting our Nebraska and Oklahoma operations.
This is more than a billing or administrative position. It's an opportunity to learn and grow across finance, payroll, billing, compliance, and business operations while working closely with experienced team members and leadership.
You don't have to walk in knowing everything. We can teach you our systems, processes, and the specifics of healthcare and Medicaid. What we're looking for is someone who is organized, dependable, curious, willing to learn, and ready to take ownership of their work.
What You'll Learn & Do
As you grow into this role, you'll have the opportunity to gain experience in several areas of our business, including:
- Coordinate billing for Nebraska and Oklahoma Medicaid, VA, Private Pay, and other payers
- Process payroll accurately and on schedule
- Monitor accounts receivable and payment posting
- Research and resolve billing denials and payment issues
- Process Medicaid and VA authorizations
- Help maintain provider credentialing and licensing requirements
- Prepare financial and operational reports for leadership
- Learn and maintain company processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Work closely with scheduling, operations, billing, and leadership teams
- Assist with Medicaid audits and compliance reviews
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and make our work more efficient
- Help support our field and administrative teams
- Take on additional responsibilities as your knowledge and confidence grow
The goal is for you to become a knowledgeable, trusted resource for our teams—not simply someone who processes paperwork.
What You BringWe Need Someone Who Is:
- Organized and able to keep track of multiple priorities
- Detail-oriented and committed to accuracy
- A strong communicator
- Comfortable asking questions and learning new things
- A good problem solver who doesn't give up when something doesn't make sense
- Dependable and willing to take ownership
- Comfortable working independently while knowing when to ask for help
- Interested in learning more about finance, healthcare operations, and business processes
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Good attention to detail
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Basic to intermediate Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
- Willingness to learn new systems and processes
Experience That Can Help You Succeed
You do not need experience in every area listed below. Your experience in one or more of these areas may provide a strong foundation for this position:
- Healthcare billing
- Medicaid or VA billing
- Payroll
- Accounts receivable
- Accounting or bookkeeping
- Administrative coordination
- Healthcare administration
- Business operations
- Customer service
- Leadership or supervisory experience
- WellSky, Netsmart, EVV, or similar healthcare software
An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Healthcare Administration, or a related field is a plus, but experience, attitude, and a willingness to learn are equally important.
Don't Check Every Box?
That's okay.
If you're currently working in an administrative, billing, accounting, payroll, healthcare, or operations position and you're ready for more responsibility and an opportunity to grow, we want to hear from you.
You may already have many of the skills we're looking for—you just may not have had the opportunity to use them in this type of role yet.
What Growth Looks Like in This Role
We want this person to grow with the position.
As you become more comfortable with our systems and processes, you'll have opportunities to:
Learn → Take Ownership → Build Expertise → Take on More Responsibility
You'll gain exposure to different areas of the business and develop a broader understanding of how billing, payroll, operations, compliance, and financial processes work together.
For the right person, this role can become an important step toward advanced finance, operations, or leadership responsibilities.
Why Join Home Instead?
At Home Instead, you'll be part of a team that understands that great care starts with great support behind the scenes.
The work you do will directly support our offices, caregivers, and clients. Accurate billing helps keep our operations running. Accurate payroll helps support our caregivers. Strong processes help our teams provide better service.
We believe in creating a workplace where people can:
