Monday – Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm (Monday and Friday are remote, Tuesday -Thursday are in office)
$36/hour

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join their finance team in Little Rock, AR. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys analyzing financial data, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the financial health of a growing organization. The Staff Accountant will prepare, analyze, and review financial statements while ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and established company policies.

Responsibilities

Prepare, analyze, and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger accounts.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
Utilize Microsoft Dynamics GP and Microsoft Office applications to manage financial data.
Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and procedures.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial and business information.
Collaborate with internal departments to support financial operations and reporting.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
Candidates with a Finance degree must have successfully completed Intermediate Accounting I & II.
Candidates currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance may be considered if Intermediate Accounting I & II have been successfully completed.
Previous accounting experience is preferred.
Working knowledge of GAAP.
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP is preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint.
