Program Overview:

The financial planning profession is experiencing a historic shift. Industry research projects that women may control nearly two-thirds of U.S. wealth by 2030, yet women currently represent less than one-quarter of financial advisors.

At IQonic Wealth Management, we believe the future of financial planning should better reflect the clients and families we serve. The Future Women in Wealth Internship Program was created to introduce talented individuals to the wealth management profession while providing meaningful experience, mentorship, professional development, and a direct pathway into a financial advisor career.

Unlike many traditional internships, this program is designed to provide hands-on exposure to every major component of a modern advisory practice, including financial planning, investment management, insurance planning, client relationships, business development, and operations.

Successful interns will have the opportunity to pursue professional licensing, continue their development following graduation, and position themselves for a full-time advisor career path with IQonic Wealth Management.

While we particularly encourage women to explore opportunities within financial planning, IQonic welcomes applications from all qualified candidates who share our commitment to serving clients with excellence.

Internship Summary:

The intern will work directly alongside financial advisors and firm leadership to gain real-world experience within a comprehensive wealth management practice.

This internship is designed for ambitious college juniors and seniors who are interested in exploring a long-term career in financial planning and wealth management. Interns will participate in client-facing activities, financial-plan building, advisor training, and business operations while receiving mentorship from experienced professionals.

The program is structured to provide a foundation for future licensing and advisor development, including exposure to insurance and investment licensing pathways.

During the internship, participants will gain experience in:

· Client discovery and financial planning

· Investment management and portfolio construction

· Retirement planning

· Insurance and risk management planning

· Client relationship management

· Wealth management technology and software platforms

· Business development and referral-based growth

· Practice management and advisory operations

Participants will receive:

· Direct mentorship from experienced advisors

· Exposure to real client planning

· Career coaching and professional development

· Opportunity to pursue licensing pathways, including AR Life & Health Insurance licensing and FINRA securities registrations through the Series 7 level

· A clearly defined pathway toward future full-time employment opportunities with IQonic Wealth Management

The ideal candidate is:

· Currently enrolled as a college junior or senior

· Interested in a long-term career in wealth management or financial planning

· Naturally curious and eager to learn

· Comfortable seeking out and building relationships with prospects and clients

· Self-motivated and growth-minded

· Passionate about helping people improve their financial lives

· Demonstrates leadership through academics, athletics, campus involvement, work experience, or community service

Compensation:

This is a paid internship with a weekly stipend and commission structure. Compensation, schedule, and academic calendar considerations will be discussed during the interview process.

From there, we co-author with you a written plan, providing a blueprint to execute important financial decisions across multiple aspects of your life. Customized recommendations include risk management, tax efficiencies, debt management, business and benefit planning, investment strategies, retirement and distribution planning and wealth management

Pay: $20.46 - $28.26 per hour
