Overview
Human Resources Coordinator – Golden Home Healthcare (Denver, CO)

Golden Home Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Human Resources Coordinator to join our Denver team. In this full-time role, you'll support a mission-driven caregiving program that helps parents become Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for their own children with special needs, and helps family members become paid caregivers for aging loved ones. If you're passionate about people, process, and purpose-driven work, we'd love to hear from you.

About the Role

As HR Coordinator, you'll be the backbone of our staffing pipeline — from the moment a candidate applies through their first months on the job. You'll work closely with recruiters, trainers, and compliance staff to make sure every caregiver is qualified, trained, and set up for success.

What You'll Do

Recruiting & Applicant Support

Screen resumes and applications for CNA and home caregiver roles
Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers
Maintain accurate, up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system
Communicate professionally and warmly with applicants throughout the hiring process
Support outreach to parents and family members exploring the caregiver career path

Onboarding & Orientation

Prepare and process new-hire paperwork, including I-9, W-4, and direct deposit forms
Coordinate new employee orientation sessions and materials
Ensure all onboarding documentation is complete, accurate, and filed correctly
Serve as a friendly first point of contact for new hires navigating the process

Training Coordination

Schedule CNA certification training and required caregiver training sessions
Track training completion and maintain training records for each employee
Coordinate with training instructors and facilities
Follow up with staff on incomplete training requirements

Compliance & Documentation

Conduct background checks, drug screenings, and reference verifications
Track and verify required certifications, licenses, and CPR/First Aid credentials
Monitor expiration dates for certifications and licenses, and follow up proactively
Ensure compliance with Colorado home healthcare licensing and employment regulations
Maintain confidential personnel files in accordance with HIPAA and company policy
Support audits and regulatory reporting as needed

General HR Support

Respond to employee questions regarding policies, benefits, and procedures
Assist with HR-related correspondence and internal communications
Support special projects related to recruitment, retention, and employee engagement

What We're Looking For

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
1+ years of experience in HR, recruiting, or coordination role (healthcare setting preferred)
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable managing multiple priorities and deadlines
Familiarity with HR compliance and documentation practices
Proficiency with HRIS/applicant tracking systems and Microsoft Office
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
Genuine interest in supporting families and caregivers
