**Overview:**

We are seeking a friendly and welcoming Host/Hostess to join our team at a busy hotel. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in ensuring their stay is comfortable and enjoyable. **Duties:**

- Greet guests as they arrive and bid them farewell when they depart, providing a warm and inviting atmosphere throughout their stay.

- Manage the hotel's front desk, including checking in and out guests, answering phone calls, and responding to guest inquiries.

- Handle guest requests and concerns with a smile, providing prompt and professional assistance to resolve any issues.

- Assist with restaurant reservations and manage seating arrangements.

- Utilize Aloha POS to efficiently process orders and manage tables.

- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and surrounding spaces.

- Provide helpful information and recommendations to guests about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions.

- Communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure seamless guest services.

- Offer a warm and welcoming presence to guests, demonstrating exceptional customer service skills.

**Experience:**

- Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is required.

- Excellent customer service skills and a strong focus on providing a positive guest experience.

- Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues.

- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS.

- Experience in food service is an asset, as you will be assisting with restaurant reservations and table management.

- Knowledge of guest services, including hospitality standards, is essential for this role.

**Skills:**

- Excellent customer service skills and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.

- Experience with Aloha POS or other POS systems.

- Strong communication and phone etiquette skills.

- Ability to work well in a team environment and provide helpful assistance to colleagues.

- Knowledge of food service and the ability to communicate effectively with restaurant staff.

- Experience in a hotel setting, with a focus on hospitality and guest services.

- A friendly and welcoming demeanor, with a strong focus on providing a positive guest experience.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
