Position Summary:
The Claims Support Processor in the Medical Bill Review Unit provides clerical and administrative support to ensure the accurate and timely processing of medical bills and claim-related documentation. This position is responsible for data entry, document management, record maintenance, correspondence handling, and supporting bill review specialists and claims staff. The role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining confidentiality and delivering exceptional service to internal and external customers.
Key Responsibilities:
In this position, day-to-day routine tasks include:
- Copying paper
- Printing, stapling & mailing documents
- Scanning documents
- Sending and receiving faxes
- Completing form letters
- Data entry
- Handling general inquiry routing calls regarding claim files.
- Working requires detailed compliance to specific instructions, with significant supervisory oversight.
- May be assigned tasks normally handled at a higher level as needed
Qualifications:
Required
Education (including minimum education and any licensing/certifications):
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience:
- Working with P.C. software applications
Skills:
- Work under significant supervision
- Demonstrate compliance to specific instructions
- Work well under pressure
- Organize and prioritize multiple tasks
- Prepare and code claim files
- Communicate effectively with others over the telephone and in person
- Use basic math skills
- Bend and stoop in order to file and/or retrieve claims documents

Preferred
Education:
- Associate degree in Business Administration, Insurance or a related field or the equivalent in related work experience

Compensation
A Talent Acquisition Specialist II earns a competitive hourly salary of $16.00-$19.00 along with the opportunity for an annual company bonus incentive.

Time Off & Leave

- Part-time employee PTO hours are calculated based upon the standard weekly hours the employee is scheduled to work and will accrue at a minimum of 3 hours per month.
- Paid holidays:
- Full-time employees are eligible for 10 company-paid holidays annually, in addition to 1 mental health day, 2 floating holidays, and 1 volunteer day. Holidays will vary by business schedules
- Part-time employees are eligible for 8 company-paid holidays annually, in addition to 1 mental health day and 2 floating holidays. Holidays will vary by business unit schedules.
