Attention, relationship-builders, problem-solvers, and self-starters!
Do you enjoy building genuine relationships with people and helping them solve problems? Are you someone who takes ownership, follows through on commitments, and looks for opportunities instead of waiting for them to appear? Do you enjoy the freedom of managing your own schedule while being accountable for your results?
If so, keep reading.
Our company is looking for a Territory Manager who thrives on helping HVAC contractors grow their business. This isn't a role for someone who wants to simply stop by, take orders, and move on to the next customer. We're looking for someone who wants to become a trusted business partner—someone contractors rely on for ideas, solutions, training, and support.
As our Territory Manager, you'll spend your time building relationships with existing customers, developing new business opportunities, scheduling and conducting customer visits, uncovering customer needs, following up on opportunities, managing your sales pipeline, and coordinating with our Customer Service, Warehouse, Product Management, and Operations teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience. You'll educate customers on products, programs, and industry solutions while helping them improve their business and grow with CFM. These responsibilities align closely with CFM's sales process, which emphasizes scheduled professional sales calls, consultative problem solving, CRM discipline, and long-term customer partnerships.
The right person for this role is proactive, organized, and genuinely enjoys helping others succeed. They don't wait for opportunities to come to them—they create them. They ask thoughtful questions, listen before offering solutions, and earn trust by consistently doing what they say they're going to do.
We're looking for someone who:
- Enjoys building long-term relationships with customers.
- Takes initiative and follows through without constant supervision.
- Is comfortable prospecting for new business and developing existing accounts.
- Communicates professionally and confidently with customers and teammates.
- Enjoys solving problems and helping customers grow their business.
- Manages their time, priorities, and sales pipeline effectively.
- Collaborates well with internal teams to deliver outstanding customer experiences.
- Is coachable, resilient, and committed to continuous learning.
- Takes pride in representing both themselves and the company with integrity.
Experience in outside sales, account management, business development, customer service, construction, HVAC, or a related industry is preferred. HVAC experience is helpful but not required—we're willing to teach products and industry knowledge to someone who demonstrates strong relationship-building skills, initiative, and a desire to learn.
At CFM Equipment Distributors, we're in business to help our customers grow their business. We're looking for someone who shares that commitment and wants to build long-term partnerships by helping contractors become more successful every day.
If you're motivated by building relationships, creating opportunities, solving problems, and helping customers succeed, we'd love to meet you.
