Full Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Estimator to join our team and drive the successful planning and execution of construction projects. This role combines the strategic aspects of estimating with the hands-on responsibilities of project management, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction estimating, site experience, and contract management, along with excellent negotiation skills and proficiency in industry-standard software tools. This is an exciting opportunity to lead projects from conception through completion, collaborating closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to achieve outstanding results.

Responsibilities

Prepare accurate and comprehensive construction estimates using tools such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam, incorporating material costs, labor, equipment, and overhead.
Develop detailed project scopes, budgets, and schedules to establish clear expectations for all stakeholders.
Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and contracts to identify potential risks and opportunities for cost savings.
Negotiate contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to secure favorable terms while maintaining strong professional relationships.
Manage project budgets throughout the construction process by monitoring costs, controlling expenses, and implementing cost control measures.
Oversee project timelines and coordinate resources effectively to ensure timely completion of each phase.

Experience

Extensive construction site experience providing firsthand knowledge of construction processes and safety protocols.
Solid understanding of construction contracts, scope development, cost control strategies, and project scheduling.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
