Job description

Job Overview

- Entails traveling across the US, home most weekends

- Performing general repairs on manual and CNC machine tools

- Operating custom grinding equipment in the field

- On the job training will be necessary and include traveling with one of our

existing technicians to learn the skills required.

- Most travel will be by truck. Mileage and travel costs paid for personal vehicle

use.

- Pay will be dictated by prior experience

Qualifications

Required

- Must have previous experience with machine tool maintenance

- Must have a valid driver's license

- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills

- Flexibility to travel

- Proficiency in reading mechanical drawings and prints

- Ability to use and read mic’s, gauges, indicators, and other metrology equipment

- Familiarity with general CNC machine tool operations

- Understanding of machine tolerances.

- Must be a US citizen due to defense/government contracting

Desirables

- Familiarity with control systems and electrical items is a plus.

- Alignment and metrology experience
