Administrative & Bookkeeping Coordinator

Full-Time | Logan, UT (On-Site) | Reports to Director of Finance and Administration

The Opportunity

Denik is a fast-growing custom notebook and lifestyle product company with a mission to build schools around the world. We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented Administrative & Bookkeeping Coordinator to support both our Finance and Operations teams.

This role combines office administration with day-to-day bookkeeping responsibilities, helping keep our office running smoothly while supporting the accounting department with routine financial tasks. The ideal candidate enjoys organization, thrives on checklists, and takes pride in creating an efficient, welcoming workplace.

Full-Time Schedule: 40 hrs/week
Location: Logan, UT (on-site)
Reports To: Director of Finance and Administration

Key Responsibilities:

Office Administration

Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming office environment.
Order office supplies, snacks, beverages, and other workplace essentials.
Coordinate office lunches, employee appreciation events, birthdays, and morale activities.
Manage office calendars and assist with scheduling internal events.
Help support daily office operations and administrative projects as needed.

Bookkeeping & Accounting Support

Deposit physical customer checks.
Apply customer remittances.
Send invoice payment links to customers.
Enter vendor bills.
Assist with transaction coding and categorization.
Maintain organized accounting records and documentation.
Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes.
Assist with bank transaction processing and reconciliations as assigned.
Perform data entry with a high level of accuracy.

Administrative Support

Respond to routine internal and external requests.
Assist with special projects and process improvements.
Maintain electronic filing systems and accounting documentation.
Provide general administrative support to the Finance department.

Qualifications:

Required

2+ years of bookkeeping, accounting support, or administrative experience.
Experience with bookkeeping software (QuickBooks Online experience preferred).
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Comfortable working with spreadsheets (Excel and Google Sheets).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Positive attitude with a willingness to learn new systems and processes.

Preferred

Experience with Core (Cin7 Core), Dear Systems, or other inventory/ERP software.
Experience supporting Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable.
Experience in an inventory-based or manufacturing environment.
Experience with customer payment processing and remittance application.

The Finance team can focus on higher-level accounting because routine work is handled efficiently.
Customer payments are applied accurately and promptly.
Vendor bills are entered accurately and on time.
Physical deposits are completed consistently.
Accounting records remain organized and current.
Administrative tasks are completed proactively with minimal follow-up.
Office supplies are stocked and the office runs smoothly.
Employee events and morale activities are organized and well executed.
