Full Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic IT Technician to join our team at BTI Communications Group, a Managed Service Provider. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our clients, troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues, and maintaining our network infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

Provide technical support to clients via phone, email, or in-person.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues on client computers
Assist in installation and configuration of client servers, workstations, and other IT equipment.
Perform routine maintenance and updates on client systems and network infrastructure.
Manage and monitor client backups and disaster recovery systems.
Participate in project planning and implementation of new client systems and technology solutions.
Document and maintain accurate records of client systems and services.
Keep up-to-date with emerging trends in IT and apply new knowledge and skills to improve client services.

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of helpdesk support experience
Good knowledge of Windows operating systems
Experience with M365 and Entra ID administration
Experience with AD administration
Experience with troubleshooting M365 apps: Outlook, Teams, SharePoint
Experience with supporting Apple products
Basic knowledge of networking technologies
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Relevant IT certifications (e.g. CompTIA A+, Network+) are desirable
