Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Dental Practice adminstrator to lead our PRIVATE FEE FOR SERVICE dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in DENTAL office management and demonstrate exceptional leadership skills. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our practice, enhancing patient satisfaction, and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations.

Duties

Oversee daily operations of the dental practice, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.
Manage fiscal responsibilities including budgeting, financial management, and fiscal reporting.
Supervise staff, providing guidance and support to enhance team performance and morale.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain accurate medical records.
Implement and manage office policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
Coordinate human resources functions including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
Utilize EMR/EHR systems such as OPEN DENTAL for effective patient management.
Maintain knowledge of medical terminology and ensure proper documentation of patient interactions.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care and manage referrals as needed.
Monitor clinic performance metrics and implement strategies for improvement in service delivery.

Experience

Proven MINIMUM 5 YEARS experience in DENTAL office management is essential.
PREVIOUS CLINICAL DIRECTOR OR REGIONAL MANAGER EXPERIENCE IS PREFERRED
Supervisory experience with a focus on team leadership within a DENTAL PRACTICE setting.
Familiarity with financial management practices including budgeting and managed care principles.
Knowledge of EMR/EHR systems is required; experience with OPEN DENTAL is preferred.
Understanding of JCAHO standards and utilization management practices is a plus.
BACHELOR'S DEGREE IS HIGHLY PREFERRED
