Job Title: Flexologist at StretchLab Cypress

StretchLab Cypress is expanding our team of dedicated Flexologists! We’re looking for heart-led professionals from diverse backgrounds; including Kinesiology, Yoga, Massage Therapy, Dance, Personal Training, Athletic Training, Physical Therapy Assistance, or Physical Therapy—who are ready to grow with us.

At StretchLab, we focus on helping our clients "Live Long" through customized stretching sessions that emphasize preventative care, maintenance, and recovery. As a Flexologist, you'll be part of an innovative, supportive team that’s transforming the wellness industry.

Qualifications:

Passion for Fitness: A genuine love for the boutique fitness environment and a strong passion for stretching, flexibility, and mobility.
Required Background:
Licensed Massage Therapist
Certified Athletic Trainer, Personal Trainer, or Sports Coach
Licensed Physical Therapist (or PT aid)
Certified Pilates, Yoga, or Dance Instructor
Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience working in a fitness/health environment, providing hands-on training to clients.
Client-Focused: Ability to create a positive, welcoming environment and connect with clients to help them achieve their health and wellness goals.
Exceptional Communication: Strong communication skills and a natural ability to exude empathy while working with clients.
Professionalism: Must be reliable, have a professional work ethic, and adhere to attendance policies.
Training Requirement: Must be available to complete our Flexologist Training Program, which includes 20 hours of online tutorials, 2 days of in-person/hands-on training, and 20 hours of practice.
Candidate Must Possess 1 of the Following 3 Options:
Fitness/Health/Wellness Certification from a recognized organization (e.g., NASM, ACE, NSCA, etc.)
State License/Certification (only required for health care providers: PT, ATC, and Chiropractor)
Completed Degree in a fitness/health/wellness-related subject (Bachelor’s or Associate’s for PTAs). Examples of relevant degrees and certifications include:
National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM)
American Council on Exercise (ACE)
National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA)
National Exercise & Sports Trainers Association (NESTA)
National Council for Certified Personal Trainers (NCCPT)
Athletics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA)
Board of Certification (BOC) for Athletic Trainers
State Licensure/Certification for Massage Therapists, Chiropractors, and Physical Therapists
Yoga Alliance certifications (e.g., RYT 200, RYT 500) for Yoga Instructors
Pilates Method Alliance for Pilates Instructors
International Ballet and Barre Fitness Association for Barre Instructors

Key Responsibilities:

One-on-One Assisted Stretching: Deliver personalized stretching sessions to ensure clients experience the full benefits while staying safe and comfortable.
Client Education: Educate clients on the purpose of each stretch, how it should feel, and provide feedback on areas of tightness and mobility improvement.
Promote Client Wellness: Encourage clients and motivate them throughout their sessions, focusing on safety, technique, and overall well-being.
Build Client Relationships: Foster strong relationships with clients to promote membership growth and retention.
Maintain Safety Standards: Ensure proper stretching techniques are followed and enforce StretchLab policies and safety rules.
Engage with Clients: Maintain a positive environment by connecting with clients and assisting in building a community that prioritizes wellness and mobility.
