Sterile Compounding Pharmacist (503A & Non-Sterile)

Location: Inglewood, CA Job Type: Full-Time

Hourly Rate: $70/hr

This is a unique opportunity to join a rapidly growing pharmacy at the ground level of our sterile program and help shape the future of personalized medicine.

Responsibilities

Prepare and verify sterile compounded medications in compliance with USP <797>, <800>, state, and federal regulations.
Oversee sterile compounding operations and maintain quality assurance standards.
Perform final verification of compounded prescriptions.
Support non-sterile compounding operations as needed.
Develop and maintain SOPs, master formulation records, and compounding documentation.
Train and mentor pharmacy technicians.
Ensure environmental monitoring, cleaning, and quality control programs are followed.
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers regarding customized therapies.
Maintain compliance with California Board of Pharmacy regulations and accreditation standards.
Participate in continuous process improvement and operational development.

Qualifications

PharmD degree required
Active California Pharmacist License in good standing
Minimum 2 years of sterile compounding experience (503A preferred)
Experience with non-sterile compounding
Thorough knowledge of USP <795>, <797>, and <800>
Strong leadership and organizational skills
Experience developing pharmacy workflows and quality systems preferred
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing environment

Preferred

Experience helping launch or expand sterile operations
Experience with hormone, peptide, and customized therapies
Familiarity with PCAB and VPP accreditation standards
