Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles has been an active affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International for more than 30 years. By building and preserving affordable housing through new construction, renovations, and home repairs, Habitat LA is transforming communities throughout Los Angeles County. Through access to affordable loans, housing counseling, down-payment assistance, skilled construction training, financial education, and volunteer opportunities, the organization has strengthened families, helped stabilize communities, and fostered economic vitality in the region. On average, the affiliate builds and renovates 100 homes in the Los Angeles region each year, ranking it among the largest affiliates nationwide.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

We are seeking an individual to be responsible for large data set imports. Primary role is to ensure data is accurately and efficiently imported into RENXT. Individual must have excel and data entry experience and be comfortable with working with large volume of data sets.

SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

ReStore Imports: Clean up ReStore Excel files from Vonigo and import donor records into Raiser’s Edge NXT. This involves repetitive data entry and meeting weekly and monthly goals.

Volunteer Imports: Clean up weekly VolunteerHub Excel files and import volunteer records into Raiser’s Edge NXT. This involves repetitive data entry and meeting weekly and monthly goals.

Acknowledgments: Mailing and emailing donor acknowledgment thank-you letters.

Administrative Support: Assist with database maintenance, including media uploads, updating and creating new records in Raiser’s Edge NXT, and cleaning up the Constant Contact email list. Support cash log processing and data entry; also includes filing and organizing records.

SUMMARY OF JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Must be able to successfully pass a drug test, background check, and driving record check
Must have a reliable internet connection
At least one year of experience in data entry, database administration, gift processing, or administrative support preferred.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate and complete records.
Ability to perform repetitive, high volume data entry while consistently meeting weekly and monthly deadlines.
Experience preparing, cleaning, validating, and importing data files into database systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including organizing, reviewing, and formatting data for import.
Experience with Raiser’s Edge NXT (RENXT), VolunteerHub, Vonigo, or similar database systems preferred.
Ability to identify data discrepancies, troubleshoot import issues, and complete validation reports.
Strong organizational and file-management skills for maintaining electronic and physical records.
Ability to handle cash logs, donor information, volunteer records, and other confidential data with discretion.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple recurring tasks, prioritize assignments, and work independently with minimal supervision.
Familiarity with Constant Contact or similar email marketing platforms preferred but not required

COMPENSATION

Pay Range: $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
Salary offers are based on several factors, including job-related knowledge, experience, and qualifications. Offers are between the entry to mid-level range.
