JOB DESCRIPTION

We are hiring for the position of Front Office Supervisor/ Revenue. The right candidate will have previous hotel front desk experience. The job requires a flexible work schedule to include weekends and holidays.

The Front Office Supervisor presents revenue strategy recommendations and is then responsible for implementing and monitoring this strategy.

Develop a full understanding of the operations of the hotel.
Responsible for In-house and online Revenue and Marketing, on a daily and monthly basis
Work closely with all departments within the hotel.
Responsible for daily operations of all shifts/Night Audit and reservations
Assume responsibility for team members and guests, always attentive, courteous and efficient in the dealings with the clients, guests, supervisors, managers and all other coworkers
Ensure all reservations are handled according to established policies, procedures, and standards.
Ensure a strategic mix of business and pricing strategies are set based on market conditions to maximize revenue and profitability. Understand how to develop a rate strategy, evaluate market trends and modify strategies.
Be familiar with digital marketing and booking engine.
Revenue management
Manage hotel inventory and rates as dictated by demand.
Excellent communication, persuasion and presentation skills.
Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.
Perform or coordinate other tasks assigned by upper management.

Excellent verbal, comprehension, listening and problem-solving skills

Interpersonal and time management skills

Guest Relations skills

Adaptability

Sound computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

High School Diploma

The ability to read, write and speak fluent English.

1-3 years of hotel front office and reservations experience.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, bend, walk, use hands to finger, or feel objects, tools or controls, lift boxes (up to 15 pounds), talk and hear. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision to a computer screen. The ability to travel for multiple days and nights.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week
