Full Job Description

Contract- 13 weeks

Shift- Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 17:00)

Responsibilities:

Complete patient pre-registration by verifying demographic and insurance information.
Contact patients prior to appointments to update demographics, verify insurance coverage, and collect patient financial responsibility.
Verify commercial insurance, Medicare, Medi-Cal, Workers' Compensation, and Third Party Liability (TPL) eligibility.
Collect co-pays, deductibles, cash deposits, and other patient payments.
Ensure accurate patient registration and financial clearance before services are rendered.
Resolve insurance and registration discrepancies while maintaining accurate documentation.
Provide outstanding customer service and assist patients with registration and billing questions.
Maintain confidentiality and comply with hospital policies and HIPAA regulations.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum 2 years of recent hospital registration or patient access experience required.
Experience with patient pre-registration.
Experience with insurance verification, Third Party Liability (TPL), Medi-Cal, Medicare, and Workers' Compensation eligibility.
Experience collecting co-pays, deductibles, and patient deposits.

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
