Insurance Customer Service Representative (CSR) – Personal & Commercial Lines

I am seeking an experienced and customer-focused Insurance Customer Service Representative (CSR). This position supports both Personal and Commercial Lines clients and plays a key role in delivering exceptional service while maintaining strong relationships with customers and insurance carriers.
Commercial Lines experience is a core requirement for this role. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of Commercial Lines insurance experience.

Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by phone and email.
- Taking care of daily tasks, mail & scanning
- Assist clients with policy questions, coverage inquiries, endorsements, billing concerns, and service requests, ID cards
- Communicate with insurance carriers regarding policy status, underwriting requirements, and account servicing.
- Contact clients regarding cancellation notices, missing information, and policy updates.
- Process policy changes and endorsements accurately and efficiently.
- Issue Certificates of Insurance (COIs).
- Prepare insurance applications and assist with underwriting submissions.
- Follow up on outstanding underwriting information and documentation.
- Conduct outbound calls to clients and carriers as needed.
- Maintain accurate client records and agency management system data.
- Handle multiple priorities while providing professional and friendly service.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of Commercial Lines insurance experience required.
- Minimum 5 years of Property & Casualty insurance experience required.
- New York State Property & Casualty License
- Experience servicing Commercial Lines accounts, including policy changes, endorsements, certificates, and carrier communications.
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
