We are looking for an experienced, full-time Line Cook who are passionate about their craft, thrive in a high-energy kitchen, and are eager to grow in a professional, team-oriented environment. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a respected and expanding restaurant group—home to The Farm Italy, Besito Mexican, and The Shed.

The Farm Italy brings the artistry, simplicity, and seasonal freshness of authentic Italian dining to Long Island. With a menu inspired by Italy’s regional traditions and a commitment to scratch-made excellence, our kitchen is the soul of our restaurant.

Salaried Line Cook positions are available for candidates with the right experience and desire to move up in management!

What You’ll Do:

Work directly with our Executive Chef & Kitchen Managers to ensure smooth kitchen operations and daily execution.
Set up and stock stations with fresh, high-quality ingredients before service.
Prepare and plate dishes with precision, speed, and consistency—always to The Farm Italy’s standards.
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment in compliance with Health Department regulations.
Safely and properly operate kitchen equipment.
Follow opening and closing procedures with care and attention to detail.
Support a culture of respect, communication, and collaboration.

What We’re Looking For:

2+ years of experience in a professional kitchen (upscale casual OR upscale dining required).
Strong understanding of cooking techniques and ability to read and follow detailed recipes.
Excellent knife skills and familiarity with food safety protocols.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a calm and focused demeanor.
Strong sense of urgency, accountability, and teamwork.
Availability to work full-time with a mix of day/night and weekend shifts (two days off per week).
Upscale / Fine Dining experience is a plus!

Compensation based on experience.
This is a full-time position with growth potential.
