Full Job Description

Banquet & Event Experience Required

Winner’s Circle is looking for an energetic, organized, and experienced Assistant Front of House Manager who knows how to run a great restaurant floor and execute successful banquets and special events.

This is not a “stand in the office and watch the floor” management position. We’re looking for a hands-on leader who jumps in, supports the team, solves problems quickly, and knows how to create an outstanding guest experience.

What You'll Do

Assist with daily Front of House operations
Lead, coach, motivate, and hold FOH employees accountable
Manage servers, bartenders, hosts, and support staff during busy shifts
Help maintain excellent hospitality and service standards
Handle guest concerns professionally and confidently
Assist with scheduling, training, opening, and closing procedures
Monitor labor and make smart staffing decisions based on business levels
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and FOH standards
Work closely with the kitchen and management team to ensure smooth operations

Banquet & Event Responsibilities

Banquet experience is a major part of this position.

You should be comfortable with:

Setting up and executing private parties, banquets, and special events
Reading and working from Banquet Event Orders (BEOs)
Coordinating room layouts, seating, food service, and beverage service
Managing banquet servers and bartenders
Communicating with kitchen leadership regarding event timing
Managing multiple events and restaurant operations simultaneously
Ensuring events are set correctly and ready before the guest arrives
Handling last-minute changes without losing your cool
Creating memorable experiences that bring guests back

We're Looking for Someone Who Is:

A strong, positive leader
Extremely organized
Guest-service driven
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Able to think on their feet and solve problems
Confident directing and coaching employees
Professional but still knows how to have fun
Willing to jump behind the bar, run food, greet guests, reset a room, or help wherever needed
Dependable and accountable
Experienced with banquets, private events, or large parties

Preferred Experience

2+ years restaurant FOH experience
1+ year restaurant management or supervisory experience
Banquet/event experience strongly preferred
Full-service restaurant experience preferred
Bar and alcohol-service knowledge preferred
Experience training and developing employees is a plus

Schedule

Must have flexible availability, including:

Nights • Weekends • Holidays • Special Events
