Customer Service & Order Entry Representative
Newcomb Spring of Colorado
Location: 1210 E. 73rd Avenue, Denver, CO 80229
Job Type: Full-Time, On-Site
Reports To: Office Coordinator

About Newcomb Spring of Colorado

Newcomb Spring of Colorado is a leading manufacturer of precision springs, wire forms, and metal stampings for customers across a wide range of industries. We are seeking a dependable, professional, and customer-focused individual to join our office team.
This is a non-management position that will primarily support customer communication, order entry, and general administrative activities. The Customer Service & Order Entry Representative will report directly to the Office Coordinator.

Position Summary

The Customer Service & Order Entry Representative serves as an important point of contact between Newcomb Spring of Colorado and its customers. The primary responsibility of this position is to communicate with customers by email and telephone, provide timely and professional assistance, and help ensure that customer orders and related information are entered and processed accurately.

The successful candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working with computer systems, and able to communicate professionally with both customers and coworkers.

Primary Responsibilities
Communicate with customers professionally and courteously by email and telephone.
Respond to routine customer questions and direct more technical or complex inquiries to the appropriate team member.

Assist with entering customer purchase orders into the company’s ERP system.
Review customer orders for completeness and accuracy.
Send order acknowledgements and other routine order-related communications to customers.
Assist customers with questions regarding order status, delivery dates, documentation, and other general account matters.
Coordinate with sales, production, shipping, quality, and other departments to obtain accurate information for customers.

Maintain organized and accurate electronic customer and order records.
Assist with data entry, filing, document preparation, and other administrative responsibilities as assigned.

Support the Office Coordinator and other members of the administrative team as needed.
Protect confidential customer, company, and pricing information.
Follow established company procedures and quality-system requirements.

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous customer service, order entry, administrative, or office experience preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Professional and courteous telephone and email manner.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Comfortable learning and working with ERP systems, email, Microsoft Office, and other business software.
Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work effectively with customers and employees across multiple departments.
Dependable attendance and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
Manufacturing or business-to-business customer service experience is helpful but not required.
Preferred Experience
Experience entering purchase orders or sales orders.
Experience reviewing customer purchase orders and sending order acknowledgements.
Experience working in a manufacturing, distribution, or business-to-business environment.
Familiarity with ERP or order-management software.
Experience communicating with purchasing agents, buyers, or other business customers.
Work Environment
This is a full-time, on-site office position located within our manufacturing facility in Denver, Colorado. The employee will spend most of the workday working at a computer and communicating with customers and coworkers by email and telephone.
Normal business hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Compensation and Benefits
Competitive hourly compensation based on experience.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
