Hampton Inn & Suites Longview North is seeking an experienced, dependable, and motivated Front Office Manager to lead our Front Desk team. We are looking for a hands-on leader who enjoys working with people, provides exceptional guest service, and leads by example.
This is not a desk-only management position. The Front Office Manager is expected to actively support the Front Desk team, assist guests, coach employees, and ensure the department operates efficiently while maintaining Hilton brand standards.
Primary ResponsibilitiesLeadership
- Supervise, coach, and motivate Front Desk team members.
- Lead by example and maintain a positive, professional attitude.
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training new employees.
- Monitor employee performance and provide coaching and accountability.
- Assist with scheduling and shift coverage as needed.
- Ensure hotel policies and procedures are consistently followed.
- Foster teamwork and maintain a positive work environment.
Guest Service
- Deliver exceptional guest service and create positive guest experiences.
- Professionally resolve guest concerns and complaints.
- De-escalate difficult situations while maintaining professionalism.
- Handle Guest Assistance cases and work with management to resolve concerns promptly.
- Follow up with guests to ensure concerns have been resolved satisfactorily.
- Empower team members to provide excellent customer service.
Front Desk Operations
- Work Front Desk shifts as needed.
- Assist with check-ins and check-outs during busy periods.
- Answer phones and assist guests promptly and professionally.
- Assist with room assignments and room status coordination.
- Ensure proper handling of Hilton Honors benefits and guest recognition.
- Monitor cash handling and Front Desk procedures.
- Assist with daily reports, audits, and operational paperwork.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Respond to guest emails and correspondence professionally.
- Assist with reports and department organization.
- Utilize Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace for daily operations.
- Communicate effectively with all hotel departments.
Team Expectations
- Maintain dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Be flexible and willing to assist wherever needed.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
- Support hotel operations during high occupancy or staffing shortages.
- Help create a culture of accountability, teamwork, and exceptional guest service.
QualificationsRequired
- Minimum 2 years of hotel Front Desk experience.
- Experience using hotel property management systems.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong conflict resolution and de-escalation skills.
- Professional written and verbal communication.
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
- Open availability, including weekends and holidays.
Preferred
- Previous hotel Front Office Supervisor, Assistant Front Office Manager, or Front Office Manager experience.
- Experience handling Guest Assistance or guest recovery cases.
- Hilton brand experience is a plus.
- Experience training and leading teams.
Physical Requirements
- Stand and walk for extended periods.
- Lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
- Use computers and office equipment throughout the day.
- Work at the Front Desk for extended periods as needed.

Attendance Expectations
Reliable attendance is an essential function of this position. The Front Office Manager is expected to report to work on time, maintain dependable attendance, and be available to support hotel operations as scheduled.
