About us

Applied Metalurgical is a startup manufacturer of completed components for a variety of industries including Medical, transportation and industrial machinery. Duties:

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings to determine job specifications
- Fabricate and assemble metal parts using various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding
- Operate and maintain welding equipment and tools
- Use hand and power tools to cut, shape, and grind metal components
- Perform quality inspections to ensure finished products meet industry standards and customer requirements
- Collaborate with team members to plan and execute fabrication projects
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to codes and standards for welding and fabrication work

Qualifications:

- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of welding principles and techniques
- Experience operating a forklift or willingness to learn
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
- Proficient in soldering techniques for joining metal components
- Knowledge of ductwork fabrication is a plus
- Familiarity with codes and standards related to welding and fabrication work
- Ability to use a press brake machine for bending metal sheets is preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise
