Full Job Description

We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused individual to join our team in a porter role supporting daily operations at an automotive dealership. This position plays an important part in maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for customers and team members alike. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-minded, and able to work well in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

Move and park vehicles safely throughout the dealership lot, service area, and designated locations
Maintain the appearance of the showroom, lot, and customer-facing areas
Assist with vehicle transportation between departments, off-site locations, and nearby facilities as needed
Prepare vehicles for delivery, test drives, and customer pickup
Check fuel levels, tire pressure, and basic vehicle readiness as directed
Support service and sales teams with vehicle movement and organization
Keep work areas, walkways, and parking areas free of debris and hazards
Follow all dealership policies, safety procedures, and traffic guidelines
Provide courteous assistance to customers and team members when needed
Video vehicle with audio description of vehicle repair status

Qualifications

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to safely operate a variety of vehicles, including automatic and manual transmissions when applicable
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance and conduct
Basic communication and organizational skills
Ability to stand, walk, and move vehicles for extended periods

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in a dealership, valet, automotive, or lot attendant role
Familiarity with vehicle handling, staging, and lot organization
Experience providing customer service in a professional environment
