Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Raw Material Outside Sales Representative and become a vital driver of our business growth! In this energetic role, you will leverage your expertise in outside sales, business development, and account management to expand our customer base within the raw materials sector. Your proactive approach will help cultivate strong client relationships, identify new sales opportunities, and deliver tailored solutions that meet our clients' needs. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your sales skills and industry knowledge directly contribute to our success.

Duties

Develop and execute strategic sales plans to target new business opportunities within designated territories.
Prospect potential clients through cold calling, lead generation, and networking to build a robust sales pipeline.
Manage existing accounts by providing exceptional customer service, upselling products, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to showcase raw material solutions effectively.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to close deals efficiently while maintaining profitability.
Utilize CRM software and sales management systems to track activities, manage customer relationships, and analyze sales data.
Collaborate with marketing teams on campaigns and initiatives to increase brand awareness and generate leads.
Maintain thorough knowledge of industry trends, competitor activities, and product innovations to stay ahead in the market.
Manage territory sales efforts by planning visits, follow-ups, and maintaining consistent communication with clients.
Support inside sales teams with technical expertise and assist in transitioning remote (virtual) sales engagements seamlessly.

Qualifications

Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or technical sales within the raw materials or manufacturing sectors.
Strong management skills with a track record of developing new business opportunities and expanding existing accounts.
Business development experience with a focus on lead generation, prospecting, and deal closing.
Familiarity with CRM software (such as Salesforce) and sales management systems for effective territory management.
Excellent negotiation skills combined with a customer-centric approach to foster long-term relationships.
Ability to perform product demos and technical presentations confidently to diverse audiences.
Experience working remotely or in virtual sales environments with excellent communication skills.
Demonstrated analysis skills for evaluating market data, customer needs, and competitive positioning.
Retail or inside sales experience is a plus, along with proficiency in marketing strategies related to B2B environments.
