Full Job Description

Registered Nurse – Weight Loss, Hormone & Longevity Care

New You Weight & Wellness Center | Longview, TX

New You Weight & Wellness Center is seeking a motivated, compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing medical wellness team.

Please note: This is NOT an aesthetics or injector position. This role is focused on the ongoing medical care and management of our weight loss, hormone therapy, thyroid, energy, and longevity clients.

We are a busy, fast-paced practice looking for an RN who genuinely enjoys helping people feel better, improve their health, and make meaningful changes in their lives. Our ideal candidate is confident, hardworking, organized, and comfortable taking ownership of patient care within established protocols and under provider oversight.

What You'll Do

Conduct follow-up visits for established weight loss and wellness clients
Support patients using GLP-1 and other medical weight-management therapies
Assist with hormone replacement therapy and testosterone therapy programs
Review symptoms, progress, side effects, medication tolerance, and treatment goals
Provide patient education regarding medications, nutrition, lifestyle, and treatment plans
Review and communicate laboratory results according to established provider protocols
Administer injections and other ordered therapies
Identify concerns or changes that require NP/provider involvement
Coordinate closely with our providers to ensure continuity of care
Document accurately and efficiently in the medical record
Help patients stay engaged, accountable, and successful throughout treatment

Who We're Looking For

We want someone who is passionate about wellness medicine and helping people feel better—not someone looking for a pathway into aesthetics.

The right candidate:

Holds an active Texas RN license
Is comfortable working in a very busy outpatient environment
Is personable and confident communicating with patients
Is highly dependable and able to work independently
Takes initiative and doesn't need to be constantly directed
Is comfortable discussing weight, hormones, medications, lifestyle habits, and sensitive health concerns
Is eager to learn about metabolic health, hormone optimization, and longevity medicine
Understands that excellent patient experience and excellent medical care go hand in hand
Works well as part of a collaborative team

Experience in primary care, women's health, endocrinology, weight management, functional/integrative medicine, or a high-volume outpatient setting is a plus, but the right attitude, work ethic, and willingness to learn are extremely important to us.

Important

This position does not include Botox, filler, aesthetic injections, or cosmetic procedures. We are specifically looking for an RN who is excited about the medical wellness side of our practice and wants to build expertise in weight management, hormone therapy, and longevity care.

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
