Full Job Description

Accounting Manager

Location: Kelso, WA

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting leader to step into a highly visible role, oversee the day-to-day accounting function, and partner closely with executive leadership.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: Up to $120,000
Discretionary bonus
100% employer-paid medical and dental insurance
401(k) with 5% employer match after one year
Four weeks of paid vacation
Hour-for-hour overtime converted to additional vacation time
Flexible start and end times (standard schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities

Prepare monthly and annual financial statements
Manage the general ledger and oversee the month-end and year-end close processes
Supervise the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll functions
Review payroll journal entries and ensure accurate financial reporting
Coordinate annual audits and work closely with external auditors
Maintain internal controls and support ongoing accounting process improvements
Partner with executive leadership on financial reporting and operational initiatives

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; Master's degree preferred
CPA strongly preferred
Experience preparing financial statements independently
Previous accounting leadership or management experience
Strong understanding of GAAP and full-cycle accounting
